Sympathy Card

I always hate to do sympathy cards and I needed one.  A childhood friend has lost his sister to cancer.
I decided to use a simple tree for the focal point on my card.  It was colored with distress inks and the background was also done with watered down distress inks.

I am entering the card into the challenge at Clean and Simple on Sunday.  The challenge is to use a tree or leaves.  Both of these subjects are favorites of mine.  I do hope it is clean and simple enough for the challenge.  I always struggle with that.
